Special Days Celebration
At Naraindas Morbai Budhrani Trust, we celebrate special days with our students to foster emotional and social well-being. These days are celebrated with various activities and special sessions for different age groups in school.
Gratitude Day
Emoji Day (Emotional awareness)
Children’s Day
Mental Health Day
Suicide Prevention Day
These celebrations create opportunities for students to engage, reflect, and develop a deeper understanding of these important themes, while participating in fun and meaningful activities.
Gratitude Day
Gratitude Day was celebrated with warmth and enthusiasm at Mother Teresa School and St. Matthews school in the year 2025 and 2024 respectfully. Reaching out to 473 students across 11 thoughtfully planned sessions.
The day was filled with meaningful and interactive activities designed to help students connect with the essence of gratitude. Through the fun and reflective game “Toss the Ball,” students shared what they were thankful for. Poetry and storytelling sessions created space for emotional expression and connection, while the beautiful “Gratitude Tree” stood as a collective symbol of thankfulness, decorated with handwritten notes from students expressing appreciation for family, friends, teachers, nature, and life’s little joys.
More than just a one-day celebration, Gratitude Day aimed to instill a deeper awareness of the importance of thankfulness in everyday life. By encouraging children to notice and acknowledge the good around them, the event planted seeds of empathy, mindfulness, and inner contentment — values that will continue to grow with them.
World Suicide Prevention Day
On 10th September 2024, St. Matthew’s High School observed World Suicide Prevention Day with a meaningful session for 124 Grade 9 students. The session was conducted by the Naraindas Morbai Budhrani Trust, focusing on mental health awareness and emotional support.
Students took part in real-life reflections, guided emotional check-ins, impactful videos, and open, age-appropriate conversations. They explored the importance of acknowledging emotions, recognizing signs of distress in themselves and others, and the strength it takes to speak up or reach out for help.
The session created a safe and supportive space, encouraging empathy, understanding, and the message that no one has to go through difficult times alone. It was a day of awareness, compassion, and quiet strength.
World Emoji Day
On the occasion of World Emoji Day, the Naraindas Morbai Budhrani Trust conducted a vibrant and engaging session for students from Grades 3 to 8 at Shree Ekveera School and N.D. Patil School. The aim was to help students connect with their emotions in a fun and creative way.
Through interactive activities like emoji-themed games, art workshops, charades, and videos, the students explored a wide range of feelings — from joy to sadness, excitement to frustration. These activities allowed them to express their emotions through both words and visual representations, making it easier to understand and communicate how they felt.
The celebration was a playful yet meaningful reminder that every emotion, whether positive or negative, holds value. It encouraged emotional awareness, self-reflection, and a deeper understanding that it’s okay to feel all emotions — because every feeling matters and deserves to be acknowledged.
Sensitizing Children Toward Older Adults
On 14th February, 2025 At Manohar Hariram Choughule Vidyalay and STS Mission English school, we conducted a heartfelt session focused on fostering a deeper understanding and connection between students and their grandparents. The aim of the session was to inspire children to value and appreciate the role of older adults in their lives while nurturing respect and meaningful bonds.
Through engaging activities like games, storytelling, and thought-provoking discussions, students explored the wisdom and life experiences that grandparents share, learning how to create stronger, more empathetic relationships with them. The session emphasized the importance of cherishing these intergenerational connections, building bridges of love, care, and mutual respect.
At the end of the day, students pledged to honor their grandparents with gratitude and affection, ensuring these invaluable relationships continue to thrive for years to come.
Women’s Day Celebration
The Women’s Day session at Utkarsh Mandir East School, conducted by the Naraindas Morbai Budhrani Trust, was dedicated to empowering female parents by promoting mental health, self-care, and overall well-being.
Through interactive activities such as “Melody Mystery” and “Drop the Label”, participants engaged in conversations that fostered a supportive and positive environment. Practical strategies for emotional regulation, self-care, and hygiene were shared, along with valuable insights on managing age-related health concerns.
