Mr. Devidas N. Budhrani (Founder and Trustee)
Mr. Devidas N. Budhrani is an entrepreneur, industrialist, promoter and co-founder of several companies incorporated in manifold sectors globally.
Contributing to the welfare of society has been a clear calling for Mr. D. N. Budhrani from a very young age. He founded Naraindas Morbai Budhrani Trust in memory of his parents to reach out to the neediest communities across the country. Since its inception in 2002, a low profile and committed support has been the way for him. In a clear alignment with the Millennium Development Goals, the trust continues to explore opportunities to change people’s lives through various initiatives in health, education and community development. This has translated into a staunch promotion of values of service to the poor and needy across all program areas.
Mr. Kishin Wadhwani
An entrepreneur and a businessman, known for his simple and practical approach in finding solutions to the critical business challenges. Also, Mr. Kishin Wadhwani is a very sensitive person committed to the welfare of the economically marginalised section and believes that poor should get more than equal opportunity to better their lives through good education and health. As an active Board member Mr. Kishin Wadhwani guides and inputs in to the program areas of Trust.
Mr. Kishin Wadhwani also heads the Budhrani Trust Charity in Legos, South Africa, committed to the health and educational upliftment of local poor communities.
Mr. V N Hegde
Banker by profession, Mr. Hegde retired from Allahabad Bank. As a Founder member of Naraindas Morbai Budhrani Trust, Mr. Hegde guides, motivates and promotes the cause of serving the poor and needy. In more than a full time role, Mr V N Hegde makes himself available for discussions, debates and engagement with his team members and partners in taking forward the cause of serving the poor and needy. Mr. Hegde has played a key role in the growth and professional development of the organisation.
Mr. Arun Arora
Chartered Accountant by profession, Mr. Arun Arora brings in his immense experience of dealing with numbers to the table with his unique perspective. Mr. Arora has closely associated with charities and organizations committed to the social cause. He is associated with Naraindas Morbai Budhrani Trust since inception.
Ms. Basanti Roy
Ms. Basanti Roy is the former Director of Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan Mumbai. She brings in immense experience of working with the State Education Department in various capacities. Started her carrier as a Science Teacher, Ms. Basanti Roy retired as the Divisional Secretary with the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education, Mumbai Division. She passionately orgainzed numerous training programs for school principals and teachers.She also initiated mid-day meals programme with the support of ISKON in Mumbai. During her tenure, she forged strong association with NIOS, Bal Bhavan, Y B Chavan Pratishthan and many others. Several newspaper articles and publications are to her credit touching various aspects of education. Presently she is advisor to some educational institutions .Her zeal to promote quality education for the underprivileged connects her to the work of N M Budhrani Trust.
Mr. Sushil Shah
On completing his Articleship 1991, Mr .Sushil Shah was immediately promoted as a partner with R D Shah & Co Chartered Accountants. After a decade’s strong partnership, Mr. Shah offered his competency to various national and oversea associations. He has also worked with various government and semi government bodies in strengthening their systems.
Mr. Shah is also very closely associated with various charities in Mumbai and around and along with spouse offers valuable time, skills and resources in serving needy institutions and persons.
Ms. Nimrata Dalamal
Nimrata Dalamal has a wide experience of developing and managing businesses and has been instrumental in shaping many business ventures. A strong connect with people and efficient management of people is her forte. Compassionate and believer in humanity is what connects Ms. Nimrata with the vision and mission of Naraindas Morbai Budhrani Trust – and believes that every person has a right to dignified living and opportunity to utilise their full potential for the betterment of humanity and as a Trust committed to serve the poorest of poor – we must optimise every opportunity in betterment of economically most disadvantaged section in every possible manner.
Dr. Avinash Supe
(MS FICS DNBE FCPS, DHA, PGDME, MHPE (UIC), FIAGES, FMAS, FAIS)
Dr. Avinash Supe is a well known figure in the public health sector, especially in Maharashtra. Dr. Supe Sir has retired from Role of Dean to KEM Hospital and GS Seth Medical College, at the same time handling the additional charge of Director (ME & MH). While part of the KEM & Sion Hospital, he was a very popular teacher and was recognized for his skills and compassion with Dr. B.C. Roy National Award (Eminent Medical Teacher), he is also ANBAI awardee (Eminent Medical Teacher). Dr. Supe has been the Founder Director, GSMC FAIMER regional Institute, and Ex Secretary, Asia Pacific HPB Association. He is also the Past President IHPBA – India and Academy of Health Professions Educators and President – Indian Association of Surgical Gastroenterology. He has many publications to his credit and continues to write on public health on many platforms.
